The only apology owed to the troops are from those cowardly bastards who sent them to die in vain in an unjust war of imperial aggression based on lies and cooked intelligence.And still an apology would be grossly inadequate. The only moral way to honor their sacrifice is to save the lives of their foremost loyalty, their fellow brothers-in-arms.
SUPPORT THE TROOPS FOR REAL; BRING THEM ALL HOME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
To do any less is, to leave them in Iraq is to screw our troops, and Iraqi’s more than they already have been screwed by Bush who places the politics of power before their lives.Staying the course, refusing to leave Iraq, is equal to spitting into the faces of our troops.

The painful reality which the Bush Administration does not want you to know is that our troops can never alone bring stability to Iraq; they can only bring instability because it is our military occupation of Iraq that feeds the violence. Our Occupation of Iraq is the problem, not the solution. Iraqi’s can and will recover Iraq only on their own with help from Iran and Syria to contain regional spillover which is why it will be absolutely necessary for the U.S. to engage both of those nations diplomatically. The U.S. is learning in Iraq that no military superpower, no matter how technologically advanced, can ever defeat widespread fourth-generation warfare. It is through fourth generation guerilla warfare that nearly every superpower in recent history, nearly every colonizer and nearly every invader has been repeatedly and consistently defeated politically and war is simply a brutal application of politics in the final sense. War is waged mostly by those who lack the diplomatic creativity and the imagination and the determination to wrestle with the far more difficult, far less costly and far more powerful enterprise of sustained peace and common prosperity. War is nothing less than the dull politics of destruction whereas peace, diplomacy and cooperation are the arts of flourishing creation.
